‘Subnautica’ Confirms July iOS and Android Release Date with New Trailer

Subnautica was originally released in 2018 for the PC and Mac, managing to become a beloved cult classic title. The game allowed you, as the player, to explore the undiscovered depths of an ocean planet, meeting various strange creatures along the way.
The game received a PlayStation and Xbox port later in 2018 and in 2021, it was released for the next-gen consoles of the time. We’ve also seen a sequel and a spin-off game to the original classic.
Now, the time has come for iOS and Android players to experience the game as well, as a new trailer confirms that the game is coming out on July 8, 2025.
Before we continue, here is the trailer:
The announcement trailer highlights what the game will look like on mobile devices and confirms the above-mentioned July release. We don’t know how many mobile games wanted to play the game on their phones, but the video looks awesome and we are quite certain that the game will be awesome as well.
In case you don’t know it, “Subnautica is an underwater adventure game set on an alien ocean planet. A massive, open world full of wonder and peril awaits you! Descend into the depths, craft equipment, pilot submarines and out-smart wildlife to explore lush coral reefs, volcanoes, cave systems, and more – all while trying to survive.”
Players will have to “unravel the mystery of this world teeming with creatures, both friendly and hostile, scattered with clues from a previous time,” and will be able to “play in Survival mode to experience the original challenge, or switch to Freedom or Creative mode to discover this oceanic planet without the pressures of thirst, hunger, or oxygen.”
Pre-registration/Pre-order is now open on Android’s Google Play Store and on Apple’s App Store.
