Nintendo Switch 2 Will Also Support “Standard” USB Mice, Gameplay Video Reveals

The release of the Nintendo Switch 2 is approaching fast. The console is set to launch on June 5, 2025, and with it, we are going to see a major new game, numerous updated games, as well as additional accessories.
The Switch 2 is slated to become a game-changer, ushering the popular console into a new era with numerous new features. Among these features is the mouse feature present with the console’s controllers.
Thanks to this feature, players will be able to use the console’s controllers in the same manner as a computer mouse, but it seems that there is more to tell about that mouse function, and we have a game to thank for the revelation.
Before we continue:
Thanks to the special developer commentary video for Nobunaga’s Ambition: Awakening, we learned that the players will be able to use standard USB mice on the Switch 2, alongside the console’s controllers.
The video goes into that feature in detail, and we are certain that a lot of players who are used to PC gaming and are Switch fans will enjoy this feature, as it is going to make using the mouse feature easier; we’re sure that the controllers will take some time to adapt to.
This is definitely great news, and we are happy that the Switch 2 console is able to surprise us even though we know almost everything. Be sure to keep following us for more updates!
