New ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles 2’ Trailer Teases the Swordsmith Village Arc

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is one of the biggest and most popular animanga franchises of all time. Created by Koyoharu Gotouge, the original manga ran from 2016 to 2020, receiving a globally popular anime adaptation.

The anime is still officially ongoing, although not in series format. Namely, the manga’s final chapters are going to be adapted in the form of three feature-length anime movies, the first of which is coming out later this year.

To warm us up, the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles 2 game is also coming out later this year and a new trailer has just been released.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles 2 is coming out this August, and it will be the sequel to the highly popular video game adaptation of the anime and manga. The first game was a solid hit, and now the second game is coming out to continue the story.

As you can see, the game is a pretty faithful rendering of the manga and anime panels, which is absolutely great. Some might complain that the game lacks originality, in the sense that the players who’ve also seen the anime have already experienced all of these scenes, but it is definitely great to explore the world of Demon Slayer even if you know how it is going to end.

This is why we believe that the second game will continue in the same manner as the first, especially if more DLCs are added to the game. The game will be available on the PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Nintendo Switch platforms.
