Although they haven’t produced a large number of games, CD Projekt Red is undoubtedly one of the biggest video game companies of all time, as fans of their major releases will know.

CD Projekt Red has given us The Witcher franchise, as well as the recent hit game Cyberpunk 2077, which started off horribly, only to become one of the biggest releases of that year.

Now that the company is working on sequels from both these series, Co-CEO Adam Badowski revealed he was quite happy with the extra workload and he is very excited about the future.

As you know, CD Projekt Red is a Polish company best known as the developers of The Witcher game series and Cyberpunk 2077. We’ve known that The Witcher IV was in the works for some time, and we’ve recently found out that Cyberpunk is also getting a sequel.

The company has been used to working on one project at a time, so working on two major projects at the same time is something new for them, but it seems that they are enjoying the workload.

“With one game in a chain, one by one, it takes so much time,” Co-CEO Adam Badowski said in a recent podcast. “So having multiple projects, which is a big change in our strategy, gives us more opportunities to be more creative and to achieve way, way more.”

The Witcher IV has been in development for some time, and we expect that early work on the Cyberpunk sequel has already begun. It seems that the company can handle the workload, and if the recently-released The Witcher IV teaser is to be trusted, they will deliver some great products.

But, we also know that the company is working on several other projects, including the Project Hadar game, which is set to be an original IP for the company and which is in “the earliest stages of the creative process, which means we are not developing any game yet, but working exclusively on the foundation for this new setting.”

Badowski concluded on a very positive note. “I don’t want to brag but as a company we are pretty good at creating new IPs, new worlds, and new universes. This is the most exciting part of our business,” he said.
