The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion was released in 2006 and it is still one of the most highly-regarded games of all time. The whole franchise has been exceptionally popular and relevant in the world of gaming, but Oblivion is – similarly to Skyrim – a game that is often listed as one of the best.

Now, it’s been a while since the game was released and the original game relied on old dev architecture, which is why the fans have been asking for a remaster for years and we’ve also had some announcements about that remaster, although nothing precise has been revealed.

Now, it seems that a remaster is, indeed, in the works, as the first leaked images have just surfaced online!

Based on the information revealed, there are big plans for the game. The game’s official titles is supposed to be The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, and Bethesda will seemingly be heavily involved in the upcoming game. It will be released for the PC, Xbox Series X|S (including Game Pass), and PlayStation 5.

The images we have have been found online, and here are the ones that are still available on the servers:

It’s not much, but we have to be honest and say tat this really does look good and that the remaster could, indeed, deliver what we wanted from the game.

The release will seemingly have two versions. The “regular” one, and the Deluxe Edition, which will include bonuses such as extra weapons and horse armor. As it seems, the horse armor in the game will be connected to the horse armor DLC pack from the original game, which, as you know, has become a popular meme.
