Disney Is Bringing More of Its IPs to ‘Fortnite’ via UEFN, Insider Claims

Fortnite is one of the world’s biggest multiplayer and online games of all time, and many will argue that it is the biggest one. The concept is interesting, and with the franchise evolving and growing with new characters and maps, it is understandable that the fans are still there.
And while Fortnite has collaborated with numerous franchises to bring their IPs to the game, one of the most popular collaborations has been the one with Disney, since it enabled Marvel and Star Wars characters to come to fortnite.
Now, according to the latest piece of information we have from a popular insider, it seems that Disney is going to bring in even more IPs to the game.
The source is a popular insider named Shiina, whose social medial profile revealed the following piece of information:
It will definitely be interesting to see if Disney will integrate some of its animated classics (such as Mickey or Donald, as the post suggests) into Fortnite, as well as how they will be integrated into a fighting game. Star Wars and additional Marvel characters do make sense.
As for the method, the post mentions UEFN, which is, in case you did not know, the Unreal Editor for Fortnite. It has been described as “a specialized version of Unreal Engine released in 2023 tailored for creating and editing user-generated content within Fortnite“.
Disney using UEFN to add more characters definitely sounds interesting, and if this piece of information proves to be correct, we will see how all of that plays out in the future.
