‘Call of Duty’ Achieves Amazing Results in February in the U.S. on both XBox and PS5
As you know, Call of Duty is one of the most popular and enduring video game franchises of all time. The FPS classic has seen numerous iterations, set in different periods and contexts, and the diversity of the games, as well as the technical innovations, helped make it into a gaming giant.
And while the market is much more diverse now, Call of Duty has been a steady presence for years now and the latest achievements confirm that. Namely, despite the versatile and, at times, volatile market, Call of Duty achieved a lot of success in February in the U.S.
So, what exactly are we talking about? Well, check it out:
In February in the US, Call of Duty was the #2 most played game on PS5 and the #1 most played game on Xbox.

The numbers for February are in and while Black Ops 6 is currently the fourth best-selling game in the U.S. (a slight fall), the franchise is doing great overall in terms of how popular it is among players.
The numbers confirm that it is the most-played game on Xbox and that it is the second most-played game on the PlayStation 5, behind only Fortnite, the same game it beats in the Xbox category.
As far as the sales parameter is concerned, this makes sense, as the game was beaten by three new titles, so it shouldn’t be a reason to worry.
