Hyundai’s OBSIDIAN Concept Is a Glimpse into a Very Possible Future
A quick look into the future is something most people would want. The future is, of course, unpredictable, but when it comes to the auto industry, companies are already working on some pretty futuristic elements. Most of them.
At this point, it all comes down to design in a majority of cases. Why? Well, while these futuristic cars aren’t there, the story of games such as Red Dead Redemption 2 allows players to explore the future without actully fighting the limits of toda’s science.
As you can imagine, the article is going to be about a very interesting futuristic design that we wanted to share with you.

The video shows us the Hyundai OBSIDIAN, a futuristic model that blends elements of the Honda 0 Saloon, the Tesla Cybertruck, as well as Paul Verhoeven’s Total Recall (or some other cyberpunk projects like Blade Runner).
The design is a collaboration between Hyundai and design students from the Munich University of Applied Sciences in Germany, who are credited for the visual aspect of this futuristic concept car.
And it looks amazing. We don’t know when or even if this concept model is going to become reality, but if this is – indeed – a glimpse into the future, a glimpse into what cars will look like in the future, then we’re all in for it!
