Older gamers might remember the original 1994 Hashire Hebereke: EX title, as the racing/action game was a solid hit back at the time. The game was quite quirky and fun, which is why its popularity managed to endure.

You might also know that Gravity Game Arise and SUNSOFT have confirmed that a remake of the original game is on its way, but the game keeps hitting bumps on the road.

Namely, it has been confirmed that the game has been delayed once more, which is definitely not going to make the fans happy.

As you might remember, the game was originally scheduled for a July 2024 release, but it has been pushed back to 2025 since. And while fans expected more news about the game this year, what we received was more bad news.

The developers have confirmed that the game won’t be released this year and that the new release date is set for Spring 2026, which is a year away (if it doesn’t get canceled in the meantime).

No official reason has been given for the delay, which might be a bit worrying, seeing how it is a significant delay. But, there is a silver lining, as the developers will stream an in-development gameplay video from the alpha version of the game on April 3 from 20:00 to 21:00 JST, which will also include a look at four-player local multiplayer. You will be able to watch it on YouTube.
