‘Zelda: Breath of the Wild’ Switch 2 Edition Won’t Include DLC Content with Upgrade

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was one of the best Zelda games of all time and it was one of the biggest hits for the Nintendo Switch. The game sold a great number of copies, and it was also received praise from both fans and critics.
We know that the game will be getting a special update for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2, but there is a catch, as it has been officially confirmed by Nintendo recently, and it’s a bummer.
You probably remember how the game received two DLC packs, worth $20 in total. Well, a Nintendo rep has revealed whether or not these packs will be available with the special Switch 2 edition of the game.
The original game, as we have said, had two Expansion Packs, and they are DLC Pack 1: The Master Trials and DLC Pack 2: The Champions’ Ballad. They both cost $20 and fans believed that the Switch 2 edition would include these two elements as part of the update.
But, as has been reported, a Nintendo customer service rep confirmed that the Switch 2 edition won’t include the two DLC packs, which means that the players will have to purchase them separately from the eShop.
And while the price is not high, it is a bummer that the extra content is not included and some fans certainly won’t be satisfied with this. Of course, this could change by the time the console is released, but this is the information we have now.
