New ‘Mario Kart World’ Footage Reveals Binocular Feature Is Coming to the Game
Mario Kart World is coming out on June 5, 2025 as the Nintendo Switch 2 launch title and players all around the world are looking forward to the upcoming game as much as they are looking forward to the console itself.
The Mario Kart World game won’t be just another installment in the popular Mario Kart franchise, it will be a revolutionary game for fans of this racing series, a game that might change the franchise completely.
We’ve already seen numerous gameplay videos, but a recent one released online reveals a completely new feature that the game will introduce.

As you can see, the game is going to introduce the binoculars, a new feature that will definitely bring something interesting to the game. Players will be able to drive up to the binoculars and check out the surrounding area and it’s pretty detailed, as the video shows.
We can confirm that it looks awesome and we are sure that the players will enjoy it, but at this point, we cannot confirm the exact function of this feature. We’re certain that Nintendo had a reason for including this in the game, but we don’t know why they did it. Yet.
It could be that the players will be able to explore the area and discover shortcuts or hidden locations, but it could also be that they will be able to find some in-game rewards with the help of the binoculars.
