‘Kaiju No. 8: The Game’ Reveals New Trailer, Opens Pre-Registration
Naoya Matsumoto’s Kaiju No. 8 has been an exceptionally popular manga series whose popularity was further boosted by the success of the anime, whose second season is coming up very, very soon.
But, in 2024, it was announced that a special video game, Kaiju No. 8: The Game, was in development by Akatsuki Games for release on mobile and Steam. Now, we have some additional information about the game.
The release is coming up soon, and the developers have released a new trailer, which confirms that pre-registration for the game is now open!

As you can see, the developers have done a pretty amazing job in animating the game, and it does feel like the anime scenes, so we’re quite excited to see what the final product will look like.
As said, the game will be released on iOS, Android, and PC via Steam, and the official listing state that the release date is set for August 31, 2025. The game will be a turn-based RPG that will follow the story of the anime series, with the official synopsis claiming the following: Crush colossal Kaiju with a game-changing blow! Experience exhilarating attacks with intuitive controls! Explore the world of KAIJU NO. 8, recreated with stunning visuals!
