The Seven Deadly Sins manga series is definitely a controversial title. And while it has a solid fandom, many have complained about the series over-the-top fanservice, and the anime adaptation was plagued with production problems at one point.

Still, The Seven Deadly Sins remains a popular shounen title and the fans are now enjoying a sequel manga and anime. But that is not all, as a new game is also on the way, as you might have heard.

The open-world RPG titled The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is set to be released soon, and Netmarble has just launched a teaser site for the upcoming game.

As of the time of writing, not much is known about The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, but it is true that the game comes after the success of Netmarble’s Grand Cross. The game will be an open-world third-person RPG title that will be released on consoles, PC, and mobile. A release window has not been given.

Here is the recently-released trailer:

The trailer seems quite interesting and it could be a good explanation to the main lore of the manga and anime, although this is most likely going to end up being a non-canon story, as such things usually are.

The game is seemingly coming out soon, and the recently-launched teaser site will probably reveal more information soon!
