The luxury division of General Motors, Cadillac has been a synonym for high-quality luxury vehicles for years now. Cadillac cars are somewhat of a tradition, a brand whose qualities are known if you just say the name.

And it is also a brand that constantly keeps evolving. Not that long ago, we’ve been informed that a V-branded variant of the Lyriq electric crossover was planned, and we have now received yet another update.

Although details are scarce at this point, Cadillac has, indeed, revealed information about a new model which we would like to share with you in this article.

Cadillac has confirmed the release of a new performance vehicle and it will be one under the V-Series brand, which is great. The model in question is the 2026 Cadillac Optiq-V, and here is what we know about the upcoming vehicle.

The company has been scarce about the details, but we know that it will be another expansion of Cadillac’s luxury crossover line and that, after the Lyriq, the Optiq is the latest model to get a V-themed version.

The Optiq is known as the smallest of five electric SUV offerings from Cadillac’s line and it has been praised as a very practical crossover, as well as one of Cadillac’s best models in that aspect.

And while we don’t know anything about the price, the company has already confirmed that the Lyriq-V will cost $20,000 more than the basic Lyriq, so a similar increase can be expected when the Optiq-V also comes out.

The basic Optiq currently starts at $55,615. Cadillac has already announced that the Lyriq-V will cost $20,000 more than the basic Lyriq, so buyers may want to expect a similar premium when the brand’s smaller performance crossover debuts later this year.
