Subaru Teases a New Performance Model Reveal Later This Year

Subaru has been a hallmark company when it comes to Japan’s car industry, especially if you’re a fan of sports cars, which is what Subaru is best known for, as you probably know by now.

But, Subaru is also producing vehicles for everyday use and we have some information in that regard, although it’s fair to say that it’s more of a tease than a proper piece of information.

Be that as it may, Subaru is teasing a new performance model that is going to be revealed at the Japan Mobility Show (a.k.a. Tokyo auto show), and we are going to tell you what we know.

Now, as far as the tease is concerned, it comes from Japan and it shows a fast-moving car, as you can see here:

Not much has been revealed here. The image is blurry and it doesn’t reveal much, but there is speculation that the new performance model might be a new WRX/STI model, although the company refused to say anything precise in that regard.

They did reveal that the new model would be “an interesting car that is Subaru-like” and it will be based on “existing technological assets,” which means that we shouldn’t expect any major innovation in that aspect.
