The iPhone has been one of Apple’s most popular products for years now. With a legendary status across the world, the iPhone is one of the hottest gadgets, which is why the interest in new models is always high.

Of course, the current model is the iPhone 16, and the focus is on the upcoming iPhone 17, which we have written about. But you probably remember that we’ve talked about the iPhone 18 as well, and now it’s time to go even further.

The rumor we have claims that Apple’s current strategy is focused on phased industrial design changes affecting different parts of the ‌iPhone‌. The strategy is set to run until 2028 at least, so through 2025, 2026, and 2027.

What is set to be affected? As the rumor claims, the changes will affect the rear camera system, the front-facing components, and potentially the complete removal of visible sensors, which could give birth to an uninterrupted full-screen experience.

The iPhone 17, which is set to come out later this year, is set to tackle the back of the device. Next year, the model will probably tackle the front side of the device, while the final batch of changes will come in 2027 with, potentially, a fully uninterrupted screen with no visible cutouts, holes, or notches, which would include integrating both the ‌Face ID‌ system and the selfie camera beneath the display.

So, by 2027, we could have a true “full-screen” iPhone, which, when paired with all the other changes, would be amazing. As for the source, it comes from Weebio user Digital Chat Station, who is a known source of leaks.

Of course, this has not been disclosed officially by Apple, so until this happens, take it with a grain of salt.
