Leaker Claims the iPhone 17e Model Is Already in Advanced Stages of Development

The iPhone 16 has been released recently and it’s been on the market for about half a year, but talks about the upcoming iPhone 17 model are already heavily underway and i seems that no one is actually talking about the iPhone 16 anymore.

Rumors about the upcoming model have been swirling for some time now, with leakers and consumers discussing the alleged additions and changes that Apple is going to introduce with the new model, whenever it comes.

Now, a reliable leaker claims that the release might come sooner than expected, as work on the iPhone 17 is already underway.

When Apple launched the iPhone SE, it was expected, and it gave the company some space to breathe in terms of updates and upgrades. But Apple then returned to its usual nomenclature with the iPhone 16e, and it raised some eyebrows.

This seemingly marked a return to the annual upgrade practice, and this was corroborated in a leak back in February, which said: “A source shared a little information: ‘e model’ is likely to be available in the next generation. At present, a new project code has been seen, which is suspected to be 17e.”

That same source is now claiming that Apple is working hard on the next model, the iPhone 17e, which is nearer to completion than we actually thought. “The setup of the 17e production line is being planned. This answers the question: There will be a 17e next year, and now it is almost in the trial production stage,” they said.

This is definitely great news and while we still don’t know any precise dates, the fact that the production is already in such advanced stages – paired with all the previous leaks and rumors – means that we might get some official news sooner rather than later.
