‘Pokémon Legends: Z-A’ Confirms October Release Date, Pre-Orders Starting in June

After the success of Arceus, there is a lot of excitement surrounding the upcoming Pokémon Legends: Z-A game, which is set to continue the trend started by Arceus and in a great way, if the trailers and images are to be believed.
And while the game was revealed some time ago, the release date had been kept a secret until now. Yes, we can confirm that we have an official release date for Pokémon Legends: Z-A!
As it has been confirmed officially, the game is set to be released on October 16, 2025, while pre-orders will start on June 5, 2025 for both the Switch and the Switch 2 edition of the game. But there’s more!
The initial rumors talked about a late 2025 release, so an October release is definitely great news and we cannot wait to get our hands on the new game. Why? Here’s the trailer to remind you why:
The devs have confirmed that “who purchase either the physical or digital version of Pokémon Legends: Z-A for Nintendo Switch will have the option to upgrade to the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition by purchasing an upgrade pack. Upgrade packs will be available on Nintendo eShop and My Nintendo Store.”
The Switch 2 edition will come with improved graphics and frame rates, so if you have a Switch 2, you should definitely buy the Switch 2 edition of the game. Also, a promo image that will be on the game covers as well has been released:
