Jason Schreier Hints That Final Fantasy Tactics Remaster Could Be on the Way

Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier has given hope to a Final Fantasy Tactics Remaster via his recent post on Bluesky.
Right now, Square Enix hasn’t come out and officially said anything about a Final Fantasy Tactics Remaster. But considering how they’ve been bringing back older games lately with remakes and remasters, it’s not impossible to imagine they might do the same with Tactics someday.
But onto the hint. Schreier has teased the game in the past as well, commenting on Reddit that “it’s happening.” Now, he posted something different on his social media:
I'm just saying, Final Fantasy Tactics is one of the greatest games ever made

Additionally, Yasumi Matsuno retweeted the State of Play post dealing with Schreier’s post.
Final Fantasy Tactics first came out on the original PlayStation in 1997 in Japan and in 1998 in the US. Sadly, it never got an official release in Europe. Even so, the game went on to sell over 2.4 million copies around the world and is often mentioned as one of the greatest video games ever made.
