‘Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra’ Delayed Until 2026
If we are to be fair, Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra was a relatively hot title from this year’s release calendar and a lot of fans have been looking forward to the new Marvel game that was set to launch in 2025.
The Spider-Man games were amazing, the Avengers game… not so much, but when Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra was concerned, expectations were high and based on the most recent piece of news, this might be a fact that the developers are fully aware of.
Namely, we are sad to confirm that it has been officially confirmed that Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra will be delayed until 2026. No precise release window has been given, but we know that the game is not coming out this year.
Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra will be an alternative history action-adventure game where a player has to assemble a team of four characters to fight the threats and dangers in a world at war, and in the shadows of a growing H.Y.D.R.A.
The game is being developed by Skydance to be published by Plaion and while everyone was expecting a 2025 release, the lack of any precise information about the game had some player doubting that it would make the deadline. And we can confirm that it won’t:
This was officially released by the developers on social media and it confirms that the game will be released in early 2026, so probably before March or April, but this is just pure speculation at this point.
The developers have given a more less formulaic reason – they want to polish the game and make the best possible version – and they have also revealed that they are planning some surprises for the players, although we don’t know when they will be revealed.
Until then, be sure to keep following us for all the updates!
