Fans of the Puella Magi Madoka Magica anime series will probably know that there is an upcoming smartphone game titled Madoka Magica: Magia Exedra lined up for release soon. Details about the game are still scarce, but starting today, we can at least confirm that a release date has been set.

Namely, a new trailer for the upcoming game, inspired by the popular anime, has been released and it confirms that the game will be released on March 27, 2025 on Android and iOS, as well as Steam, which means that every smartphone and PC owner will be able to enjoy the game, which is – as things stand now – going to be free-to-play.

The game was supposed to launch last year but was delayed to “ensure even higher quality in the final game.” It has been confirmed that FictionJunction will perform the theme song “lighthouse” with LINO LEIA as the main vocalist.

The game is developed by Pokelabo (Assault Lily: Last Bullet, SINoALICE) and f4samurai (Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion Lost Stories, Ange Vierge -Re:Link-), and we hope that the final product will be to everyone’s satisfaction and that the game will meet the demands of the fans.
