It has been said more than once that the manga and anime market is one of the biggest ones, and that despite of that, it is still growing. Manga are extremely popular around the world and in the U.S., they are even more popular than traditional Western comics.

The Manga Mirai app has been released recently and it brings its users a large database of digital titles from publishers Kodansha USA Publishing, Yen Press, Square Enix, and more. The app comes from NTT Docomo and is supported by MyAnimeList, Akatsuki Group, and Media Do Co.

And while Manga Mirai might just look like another manga-reading app, there is a catch. Namely, Manga Mirai offers HD scans, which is something that makes it stand out in the competitive market. HD titles were a standard once but have now become rare.

With Amazon effectively destroying Comixology, Viz, and Shonen offering low-resolution titles, and Kobo being a very volatile place to find manga, Manga Mirai seems like a great opportunity for manga fans to actually find HD titles, which is why we think the app is worth your time!
