Leaker Supposedly Reveals ‘Madden NFL 26’ Release Date Ahead of Official Announcement

EA’s Madden NFL series has been a pillar when it comes to American football games, as well as one of EA’s most consistent best-sellers. The franchise has evolved since the first game launched in 1990, and now, gamers from all around the world are enjoying the game.

Although it’s still a bit too early, we know that Madden NFL 26 is coming out this summer, and we are patiently waiting for EA’s official announcement related to the upcoming game.

But, it seems that we have gotten the information we wanted early! Namely, a popular leaker has seemingly revealed the game’s official release date ahead of the official reveal, and we have the information for you!

The information comes from popular leaker billbil-kun and has been shared online with the fans recently. And while the information seems credible and in-line with the franchises earlier practices, we would still like to warn you to take the information presented here with a grain of salt.

So, what is billbil-kun saying? First, he is claiming that the official announcement will happen on April 25, 2025 (so we’ll be able to test the veracity of these claims very soon), which is quite close. The game’s Standard Edition should be released on August 14, 2025, which is around the time of last year’s release.

Deluxe Edition buyers will get a 3-day Early Access, while EA Play owners will get a 10-hour trial version on August 11. The game will launch for the new PlayStation and Xbox consoles, and billbil-kun is claiming that they have no information about Old Gen consoles at this point.

We also know that the game will be released for the Switch 2, but billbil-kun claims that they still don’t know whether it will be a simultaneous release or if the Switch 2 version will arrive at a later period.
