It’s been barely a month since Kingdom Come: Deliverance II was released, but we can already confirm that the data says that the game is a massive hit. According to the new data from the U.S., Kingdom Come: Deliverance II has already outperformed its predecessor in every way.

The long-awaited sequel was released in early February and the reviews for the game were highly positive, which contributed to the game seeling well. How well? Keep reading to find out!

As you know, the game included several major improvements from the first game, and it seems that everyone was satisfied with that. The data for February suggests that the game is doing very well in terms of sales, and the cumulative reviews also show that the sequel is a better game.

Namely, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II has already outperformed the first game in terms of the money earned during its launch month, and all of that while facing very tough competition, as February has been full of (major) new releases. On top of that, it was the second best-selling premium game for February and is still the second best-selling premium game of 2025 so far.

More than two million copies of the game have been sold in February.

As for the reviews, we know that the original game garnered a 76 score from critics according to MetaCritic with an 83% positive rating on Steam. The sequel? An even better Metacritic rating of 88, and a 93% positive rating on Steam! This is surely enough to convince you to give this amazing sequel a chance! If you already haven’t, that is.
