Dive into the Depths in the Newly-Released ‘Abyssus’ Gameplay Trailer and Demo

Games that take place underwater are always interesting because they allow the developers to get really creative in crafting a world that is largely unexplored and often considered very mysterious.
And while these games often take the form of adventure or mystery games, when it comes to first-person games that involve shooting and strange creatures, Bioshock is the first one that comes to mind. But, a new such game is coming.
Abyssus is an underwater FPS brought to us by The Arcade Crew and the Swedish studio DoubleMoose, and we are happy to announce that the game has released new content ahead of the full official release.

This gameplay trailer shows the unique blend between science-fiction and fantasy that Abyssus will be. Although it is a standard FPS game, it seems that the writers have done a lot to create a proper fantasy world with a lot of intrigues and mysteries, and the designers did a great job in following them.
The game will take the player, a member of the Brinehunters unit, to the bottom of the ocean, where a mysterious electromagnetic source has just been discovered. There, they will discover a lost civilization and while researching it, they will have to fight of the haunted fiends that want to destroy them.
Relying on cooperation, the player will have to find a way out of these ruins and stop the evil hordes from taking over the world. On top of everything we’ve said, we can also confirm that a demo has been released on Steam, pending an official full relese.
