Chery Is Leading Us in a New Era of Car Selling With Blonde Humanoid Robots

Robots have been a part of our lives for a while now, but now, humanoid robots are becoming more and more present in our daily lives. Some people like this and see the benefits, while others see a potential issue there.
Be that as it may, companies are starting to rely on robots more and more, and the Chinese auto company Chery is a prime example of how humanoid robots are becoming more and more present.
Namely, in a recent promotional video, Chery has provided us with a potential look into the future, when robots are going to sell cars instead of real people. Curious?
Chery has been around since 1997 and while the company has been mostly present in China and Asia, it is a growing company and seeing how Chinese cars have become more popular in recent years, it is possible that they will spread even more.
In light of that fact, it seems that the company is adapting a new strategy, if this video is a foreshadowing of the future:
In partnership with AiMOGA, Chery has decided to use Mornine, a blonde-haired, female-looking humanoid robot to sell their cars instead of real people. The video above shows what that could look like, and the company has explained that this could “usher in a wholly innovative customer ecosystem service system.”
Mornine isn’t wholly new, as the initiative was announced back in June 2024, but we are now seeing what it could look like in the far/distant future. She was presented at the Shanghai Auto Show for the first time.
As for opinions, they are divided. There is a practical aspect to all this, but whether you would be more creeped by Mornine than amazed… well, that’s probably individual for everyone.
It’s probably going to be a while before this becomes standard reality, as the production costs are still high, but if you want to know what the future could look like, take another look at the video.
