2026 Toyota GR Supra MkV Final Edition: A Fast Farewell to a Modern Icon
Toyota is saying goodbye to the fifth-generation GR Supra with a bang. The 2026 GR Supra MkV Final Edition is here, and it’s packed with upgrades that make it more fun, more precise, and more exciting to drive. Production ends in early 2026, but this special version makes sure the Supra goes out in style.
The MkV Final Edition isn’t just about flashy extras. Yes, it has unique 19-inch wheels and a bold design, but there’s real performance underneath. It still uses the 382-horsepower, turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine—sourced from BMW—and it sends power to the rear wheels. You can choose between an eight-speed automatic or a six-speed manual transmission.
All Final Edition models come with special features like a carbon-fiber ducktail spoiler, front tire spats, and small flaps on the wheel arches to improve airflow. These little touches help the car perform better at high speeds.
Toyota didn’t just focus on speed—they made the Supra smarter and sharper for corners and curves. The company updated the software that controls the rear differential, so the car has better grip and handles turns with less understeer. That means the car stays planted and balanced when you’re pushing it hard on twisty roads or the racetrack.
Other upgrades include:
- Revised steering for a more direct feel.
- Adjusted camber angles on all four wheels for better cornering grip.
- Stronger rubber bushings.
- A stiffer front anti-roll bar.
- Updated adaptive dampers.
- A new underbody brace that helps the car feel more solid and stable.
And in case things get too exciting—or you’re not paying attention—there are upgraded Brembo brakes to bring you to a quick stop.
If you want to go even further with the look, Toyota offers an optional GT4 appearance pack. It’s inspired by the GR Supra GT4 EVO2 race car. The package includes:
- Bold side graphics
- Red mirror caps
- A matte-finish rear spoiler
- A blacked-out Supra badge
It also unlocks two special matte paint colors: Burnout and Undercover. However, this pack won’t be available until fall 2025.
The interior of the Final Edition adds to the sporty feel. You get leather and Alcantara-trimmed seats with red stitching and a GR logo on the headrests. The shift knob has red accents, and even the seatbelts are red, giving the cabin a racing vibe.
- Base GR Supra 3.0: $58,035
- Premium Trim: $61,185
- MkV Final Edition: $69,085
This Final Edition is the last chapter for the current Supra. Toyota hasn’t said if a sixth-generation is coming, so this might be your last chance to own a piece of modern Supra history.
Whether you’re a long-time fan or new to the Supra game, the 2026 GR Supra MkV Final Edition is a fast, stylish, and exciting way to say goodbye to a legend.
