The 2026 Volvo XC60 Will Look Almost the Same, But the Interior Will Improve Significantly

Volvo has been one of the most reliable car brands for years now, and while the prices of Volvo’s cars generally are high, the owners are satisfied and there is a certain guarantee of quality and long-term reliability that comes along with the brand name.
And while recent Volvo-related news have been focused on other models, the very popular Volvo XC60 is still here and 2026 is going to bring us a new, revamped model with some significant improvements.
The Volvo XC60’s most recent update came in 2021, despite the fact that it has been one of the company’s best-selling models since its 2017 debut. As for the changes, we’d like to stress out first and foremost that the exterior design of the vehicle is going to change very little, so don’t expect a completely new vehicle.
The biggest change is going to be the new grille, which is going to be based on the XC90 model, and we’ll also get darker taillights, as well as some optional elements (new wheel designs, new colors), but that’s about it. Also, the interior will also look more premium, but that is merely a matter of style, not substance.
The biggest substantial change when compared to the older models is the new information screen, which is increasing from 9.0 to 11.2 inches. But it’s not just the size. The performance will be better overall, as the images will be sharper and you’ll be able to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Cockpit Platform.
According to the manufacturer, the new model will be twice as fast as the previous one, and it will also have several of Google’s services built-in, which will provide owners with a significantly new experience. As for the power, it seems that this won’t change.
The prices for the new model will be revealed later, but we are definitely looking forward to the new model.
