PlayStation Portal Gets New Update with Game Sorting, Video Captures, and More for Cloud Streaming Beta

Sony has released a new system update for the PlayStation Portal remote player, starting today. This update brings new features to improve the Cloud Streaming (Beta) experience, available to PlayStation Plus Premium members.
With this update, players can enjoy better ways to find games, capture gameplay, and manage their sessions more easily.
The PlayStation Portal update adds several new features for Cloud Streaming (Beta). You can now sort games by recently added, name, or release date. The Create button allows you to take screenshots or record video clips, which are saved to the cloud for 14 days. If the streaming server is full, you’ll see an estimated wait time.
Games will pause when opening the quick menu, entering rest mode, or encountering a system error, but it doesn’t work in online multiplayer sessions. You’ll also receive a notification if inactive for 10 minutes. Finally, after each session, you can provide feedback to help improve the service.
Sony continues to listen to player feedback and is adding new features regularly. In the past, they added support for some public Wi-Fi networks, and now they’re making gameplay even smoother with this update.
If you’re part of the PlayStation Plus Premium tier and using PS Portal, give these new features a try today!
