As we had reported not that long ago, the Nintendo Switch 2 is going to get a special GameCube-style controller, which is certainly going to make a lot of fans happy, especially if they are old enough to have grown up with the GameCube.

The GameCube was initially released in 2001, and it ended up selling a total of 21.74 million units, most of which were sold outside of Japan. The console was not as popular as some of Nintendo’s other consoles, but it was a solid hit, and the fans often look at it with fond memories.

Nintendo has obviously decided to honor the legacy of the GameCube with this special controller, and we are now going to show you more details.

The Nintendo Switch 2 is coming out soon, and aside from the console and the games, the company has also revealed a series of interesting accessories, among which are special controllers.

Special controllers were available for the Switch as well, but the new one will make a lot of fans happy, and here is the video that provides us with a closer look:

To be honest, the controller looks awesome, and we are quite happy that we’ll be able to use it when the Switch 2 arrives. As you can see, you will be able to connect it via WiFi, it will have the C button to access the chat feature, and the ZL button, as expected.
