Hyundai has just updated its electric sedan, the Ioniq 6. The new version looks sharper, has small changes inside, and gives us a first look at a high-performance model called the Ioniq 6 N.

The new Ioniq 6 was revealed at the Seoul Mobility Show. It now has a cleaner, more modern design. At the front, the car has thinner LED lights and a new bumper that makes it look wider and lower. These design changes match other Hyundai electric cars like the Ioniq 5.

On the sides, the black trim goes up higher on the doors to give the car a sportier look. The big spoiler on the back has been replaced with a smaller ducktail spoiler. This keeps the car looking sleek and helps it stay aerodynamic. Some cool design ideas from the concept version — like cameras instead of mirrors — probably won’t come to the U.S. because of regulations.

Inside the car, Hyundai made a few changes to improve comfort and style. The steering wheel now has three spokes. The center console has been redesigned to be more user-friendly. The climate controls are now bigger, and the door panels use better-quality materials.

Hyundai also introduced an N Line version of the Ioniq 6. This one looks sportier with a more aggressive front bumper, black trim, unique wheels, and several N Line logos. However, it doesn’t have extra power — it’s mostly for looks.

The most exciting part is a teaser of the Ioniq 6 N. In one photo, Hyundai showed a hidden version of the car in the background. It’s painted in blue, has a large rear wing, and dark details. It’s expected to use the same powerful engine as the Ioniq 5 N, which makes up to 641 horsepower.

This means the Ioniq 6 N will be very fast — and will compete with other sporty EVs like those from Tesla and BMW.

Hyundai says the full reveal of the Ioniq 6 N will happen in July. For now, fans can only guess what’s coming — but it’s clear Hyundai is ready to get serious about high-performance electric cars.
