You know how you can trigger special Screen Effects in Google messages by using a certain combination of emojis? Well, it’s a fun way to make a conversation more interesting and many people like the feature.

At this time, the feature is activated by sending a couple of identical emojis to the person you’re chatting with, but it has been discovered that a new beta build is focused on adding the feature with just one emoji.

These new Screen Effects are currently in the beta phase and are available for some users who have the version 20250430_01_RC000 beta, and currently work with the crescent moon, clapping hands, honeybee, volcano, ZZZ, and partying face emojis.

The full list of emojis that can trigger a special effect is not available yet, but as soon as Google ends the beta phase, we are certainly that the information will be available.
