And while most foreign companies have so far rejected his plans or have adhered to them in a small, almost insignificant manner, U.S.-based companies have it somewhat easier, despite the fact that even they have been producing cars in neighboring countries.

GM is one such company, and the American industry giant has confirmed that they will be shifting part of their production to Kansas, as well as more interesting details.

In other words, the company has confirmed that they are also working ona a next-gen Chevrolet Bolt EV, which would ultimately hue the brand’s overall performance on the box office.

“Fairfax remains on track to begin building the 2027 Chevrolet Bolt EV by the end of this year. GM expects to make new future investments in Fairfax for GM’s next generation of affordable EVs,” the company said in a press release, while we can confirm that the new upcoming Bolt will be just one member of a “family” of upcoming Bolt EVs, some of which might end up being very affordable.
