This is one of the reasons why Apple Pay was integrated as one of the payment methods customers can use. 

With NFC technology, Apple Pay users can use the contactless payment feature to complete their payments at any Dairy Queen outlet with ease. It’s important to mention that Dairy Queen is a franchise-based company meaning there can be different owners of different outlets in different locations hence, there must be various payment methods for its branches. However, most of the outlets have begun accepting Apple Pay as a payment method for a better customer experience since most of Dairy Queen’s customers use Apple devices. 

If you’re unsure if a Dairy Queen’s outlet does accept Apple Pay as a payment method, you can use Apple Maps to verify this. It’s advisable to always check a store’s location on Apple Maps to verify if it accepts Apple Pay just in case the store may have disabled its contactless reader due to technical issues.

To verify if any Dairy Queen store accepts Apple Pay, open the Apple Maps on your iPhone and go on to search for the Dairy Queen outlet’s location. After this, scroll down the page. If you see the Apple Pay logo, then the outlet accepts Apple Pay as a payment method, if you don’t then you may have to go there with an optional payment method just in case the attendant confirms that the outlet doesn’t accept Apple Pay.

How To Use Apple Pay At Dairy Queen 

If you’re new to Apple Pay, to use Apple Pay to complete your payments, you need to have set up your Apple wallet first. If you’re not a first-time user of Apple Pay, then you can skip this process. Here’s how to set up your Apple wallet to begin using Apple Pay as a payment method. 

Step 1: Launch Your iPhone Or iPad Settings And Open “Wallet & Apple Pay”

Navigate to your iPhone or iPad settings and tap “Wallet & Apple Pay”

Step 2: Add Your Preferred Payment Card And Enter Your Card Details

To add your preferred card for payments, tap on “Add Card” and proceed by tapping “Continue”. You’ll be directed to a page that requires you to select your type of payment. After selecting the payment type, add your preferred card details.

Step 3: Accept Apple’s Terms And Verify Your Card

Agree and accept Apple’s terms and conditions then proceed to verify your card by completing all other required verification steps. This step is very important to finalize the setup process.

Step 4: Complete The Setup

You can go on to use Apple Pay at any Dairy Queen outlet after verifying your card. 

How To Set Up Apple Wallet On Your Apple Watch

You’ll need your linked iPhone to set up your Apple Wallet on your Apple Watch. Once you have the phone, proceed to the following steps:

Step 1: Launch The “Apple Watch” App

On your linked iPhone, open the Apple Watch app to begin the setup process.

Step 2: Open “Wallet & Apple Pay”

Scroll to “Wallet & Apple Pay” and tap on it to add your card.

Step 3: Add Your Preferred Payment Card

To add your preferred card, Tap on “Add Card” and follow the on-screen instructions. You can enter the card details by manually entering the details or scanning the card to automatically enter the card details. Once this is set, you can use Apple Pay on your Apple Watch.

How To Use Apple Pay At Dairy Queen Outlets With Your iPhone Or iPad:

Step 1: Select Your Mode Of Payment And Open Your Wallet

Head to the check-out counter. Your device will automatically prompt you to use Apple Pay to make your payment. Then you can go on to choose your preferred card in your Apple Wallet on your iPhone or iPad. 

Step 2: Select Your Card

You can use your default card or a different card to complete your payment. If you’d like to use a different card instead of your default credit or debit card, tap on the default card and choose the different credit or debit card in your wallet to use.  

Step 3: Verify Your Identity

You can use the Face ID scanner to verify your identity by double-clicking the power button on the right side of your phone. This will activate your Face ID scanner and if it’s not available, enter your correct Apple ID password.

If your iPhone doesn’t have the Face ID scanner but has Touch ID, place your finger on the home button. If the Touch ID isn’t available, enter your correct Apple ID password.

Step 4: Complete The Contactless Transaction 

Hold your phone for a short period near the contactless reader to automatically scan your payment. This will authenticate the payment and complete the transaction. Once it’s done, you’ll see a checkmark on your phone’s screen.

If you don’t want to use Apple Pay at Dairy Queen, you can use other payment methods to complete your payments. Here are other payment methods accepted at Dairy Queen:
