Gameplay Trailer for T-1000 in ‘Mortal Kombat 1’ Drops Ahead of March DLC Release

Despite being released in 2023, Mortal Kombat 1 is still very much alive and well, and not only that, the game is significantly expanding in a major way with new content. This article is actually focused on that, as a new character-focused DLC has been confirmed.
The new DLC, which is coming out on March 18, 2025 for those who have the Khaos Reigns content, while others will be able to play it starting from March 25. Who is in the center? Terminator‘s T-1000!
Alongside the release date info, a teaser was also revealed (see below), as well as the following official summary:
Featuring the voice and likeness of actor Robert Patrick, the liquid metal-based cybernetic assassin from the Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) film utilizes a deadly moveset allowing the advanced prototype to shapeshift and organically form stabbing weapons. The T-1000 will join the Mortal Kombat 1 roster on March 18 as part of the early access period for Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns Expansion owners, followed by wide availability for purchase on March 25.
The video also shows off a glimpse of Madam Bo, a new downloadable content Kameo Fighter who can assist during matches with a range of support moves. The Madam Bo Kameo Fighter will be available as a content update for all Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns owners at no additional cost or via standalone purchase on March 18.
The new trailer was debuted at Pro Kompetition Mexico, the opening event for the Mortal Kombat 1 Pro Kompetition: Season 2, hosted in Mexico City. The new season of the global esports program featuring Mortal Kombat 1 features a $255,000 USD total prize pool with a variety of live, in-person events across North America, Latin America, South America, and Europe, as well as multiple online tournaments.
