Japan’s Toyota is one of the biggest players in the auto market and the company is now expanding its roster with a revolutionary electric SUV that is going to appear on the Chinese market. This is yet another example of how good of a work Toyota is going when it comes to modern vehicles.

Namely, not only is the upcoming bZ3x, which is already known as Bozhi 3X locally, going to be Toyota’s cheapest model, it is also going to be packed with features that are generally seen only in more expensive models, which makes it a great pick!

So, first, the great news. Namely, the bZ3x is going to be available for 109,800 yuan (roughly $15,150), which is the cheapest version that has the smallest number of features. The most expensive version will start at 149,800 yuan (roughly $20,707). These prices make it the company’s cheapest EV in the Chinese market.

The model itself won’t bring you much in terms of range, outpur and charging, but as we have said, the features are amazing. Each model – and there are seven of them in total – is equipped with a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery (between 50 and 58 kilowatt-hours, depending on the size).

As for the additional features, two models are equipped with the lidar, which many drivers will enjoy, while buyers will also enjoy 14.7-inch screen with a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip. Chinese startup Momenta has also provided a “smart driving system” powered by the Nvidia Drive Orin X chip, which offers up to 254 trillion operations per second (TOPS) of computing power.

As you can see, Toyota has a clear hit with this model and we just hope that such models will be released in the West as well!
