The New Škoda Enyaq SportLine 85 Will Be More Durable and Less Expensive
The Škoda Enyaq was first introduced in 2020, while the Coupe version appeared in 2022. Since then, this battery electric compact crossover SUV has been one of Škoda’s most notable models.
The Enyaq has been getting great reviews almost consistently, and the sales numbers are such that it makes absolute sense that Škoda is still investing in this model, as the report we have for you here confirms.
Škoda has confirmed the details for its upcoming Škoda Enyaq SportLine 85, which is going to be a better version of the model in the technical sense, but will also be more affordable, which is what the buyers will appreciate.
The new model will be available to order starting on June 12, 2025 and it will be available in both SUV and Coupé body styles. The SportLine 85 will be similar to the all-wheel-drive 85x, but will be more effective and have greater range thanks to its single-motor drivetrain.
To be more precise, the new model will achieve up to 354 miles on the WLTP combined cycle, while the aero-efficient Coupé will go up to 356 miles, which is, as you can observe, a noticeable improvement. As for the charging, the 10–80% charge will be achievable in around 28 minutes. Also, the models will be able to jump from 0–62 mph in 6.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 111 mph.
Both models will also have progressive dynamic steering and sports suspension that lowers the ride height by 15mm at the front and 10mm at the rear, a variable boot floor and Area View camera as standard, as well as 20-inch Vega black alloy wheels, sports bumpers, and gloss black styling details, a head-up display (HUD), front sports seats, sports steering wheel, and a CANTON sound system.
As for the pricing, they will be starting at £47,260 OTR (Coupé from £49,160 OTR), which is roughly $63,600 (or $66,200), which is less than other similar models.
