The Elder Scrolls Online is back with “Seasons of the Worm Cult Part 1.” After releasing on PC last week, it’s heading to consoles on June 18. Bethesda announced this during the Xbox summer showcase, where they also shared a new trailer for the update.

This new chapter continues a story that started over ten years ago in the game. Players can now explore a brand-new area called Western Solstice. It’s a fresh zone full of things to discover, enemies to fight, and quests to take on.

A sinister new chapter arrives for ESO, available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC (Steam/Epic). Uncover the resurgence of the dreaded Worm Cult as they unleash forgotten horrors across Tamriel. From the ashen wastes of Morrowind to the sunken ruins of High Rock, new threats demand new alliances.

Alongside the expansion, all players get access to a free Update 46. One of the biggest new features in the update is subclassing. This lets players combine skill lines from different classes to create a more custom playstyle. It opens up more ways to build your character and try new things.

Bethesda is also trying to bring old players back with something called the Hero’s Return system. If you haven’t played in a while, this system gives you some in-game rewards to help you get back into the action. It’s meant to make the return a little easier and more rewarding.

Whether you’re still playing or thinking about jumping back in, this update might help fill the gap while we all wait for The Elder Scrolls VI. The Elder Scrolls Online is still going strong, and Bethesda seems keen to keep the momentum going.
