New ‘Battlefield Pro’ Subscription Possibly Coming – Leaked Info Reveals What’s Inside
It looks like Electronic Arts might be planning a new version of the old Battlefield Premium membership, but this time it’s being called Battlefield Pro. Some dataminers — people who dig into game files to find hidden info — say they found details about this new subscription, and it sounds like it will offer a lot of extra content and features.
According to a report from MP1st, the leaked information came from something called Battlefield Labs, though no exact source was shared. As with any leak, this isn’t official, so it’s best not to take it as 100% confirmed just yet.
Still, the idea makes sense. EA has been building up the Battlefield universe lately, including work on a new free-to-play battle royale game. A premium subscription like Battlefield Pro could fit right into that kind of game, giving paying players some extra rewards and perks.
Here’s what the dataminers say Battlefield Pro could include:
- Battle Pass Access – You’d get the Battle Pass along with some extra special content.
- 6 Instant Unlocks – You’d get six Battlefield Pro-only items right away.
- +10% XP Boost – Earn more XP when playing and move through the Battle Pass faster.
- Persistent Server in Portal – Host your own server in the Battlefield Portal mode, which might stay online even when you’re not playing.
- 20 Tier Skips – Skip 20 levels on the Battle Pass to get rewards faster.
- Bonus Content Path – A special path with more rewards that would be added later in the season.
- Pro Challenges – Unique missions that unlock rare cosmetics, including older rewards from previous seasons.
- Pro Radio Station – This one’s still a mystery, but it seems like it’s a special music or audio feature for Pro members.
There’s nothing too surprising in the list, but it’s interesting to see features like private server hosting return. In older Battlefield games, players had to pay to run servers like that. It’s also unclear what the “Pro Radio Station” is, or where it can be used.
In the past, Battlefield Premium was a one-time purchase with lots of perks. But if this leak is true, Battlefield Pro might be something you pay for monthly or each season, like many other games do today.
Of course, since this information isn’t official yet, fans should wait for EA to make an announcement. Until then, take this with a grain of salt.
