James Bond Origin Story Game ‘Project 007 Confirmed for Nintendo Switch 2 Trailer Released

Fans of James Bond and classic spy games have something big to look forward to. IO Interactive has officially announced that their upcoming game, Project 007, will be coming to the Nintendo Switch 2.

This new game is set to be the first-ever origin story for James Bond in video game form. According to IO Interactive’s website, players will take on the role of a young Bond as he works to earn his 00 agent status.

Unlike past Bond games, which were often based on movies, Project 007 will introduce a completely original story.

IO Interactive, known for their work on the Hitman series, is aiming to create a Bond character that players can grow with over time.

“It’s extremely exciting with all the tradition and all the history there is there together to work on this together with the family of creating a young Bond for gamers; a Bond that the gamers can call their own and grow with.”

While specific details about gameplay are still under wraps, fans can expect stealth, action, and espionage, similar to IO Interactive’s Hitman series. The game will be a fresh take on Bond’s story, allowing players to experience his rise to becoming the legendary spy.

With Project 007 confirmed for the Nintendo Switch 2, it will be interesting to see how the game takes advantage of the new console’s hardware. More details will likely be revealed as the game gets closer to release.
