Hyundai is seeing impressive sales growth in the US, with February marking its best performance for the month yet. The company sold over 62,000 vehicles, a 3% increase from the same time last year. This growth is largely driven by electric vehicles (EVs) and hybrids, which saw a 25% boost compared to February 2024.

The 2025 Hyundai IONIQ 5 has been a key player in this success, helping to lead the charge. Sales of the IONIQ 5 rose by 22% last month, adding to a total of nearly 4,700 units sold in the first quarter of 2025, which is up 36% from last year.

One of the IONIQ 5’s most notable updates this year is its improved driving range, now reaching up to 318 miles. It also features an updated interior, including dual 12.3-inch displays for the driver and infotainment, plus wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A new addition is the NACS port, allowing drivers to charge their vehicle at Tesla Superchargers.

Hyundai is also working on expanding its EV lineup, with the 2025 IONIQ 9 set to debut this Spring. The company expects continued growth, backed by its growing range of vehicles. Hyundai’s EV Metaplant in Georgia is a key production hub for these models, including the IONIQ 5 and the upcoming IONIQ 9.

For those looking to make the switch to an EV, Hyundai is offering some attractive deals, including leasing options starting at just $229 per month. In addition, customers can get a free Level 2 home charger or a $400 public charging credit with a purchase or lease of a 2025 IONIQ 5.

As Hyundai moves forward with its EV plans, it’s set to continue growing its market share in 2025 and beyond.
