With over 1000 locations across America, shopping at the popular department store may lead to shoppers wanting to know what payment options are available at the store and if Apple Pay is accepted as a payment method in the store. That being said, is Apple Pay one of the payment methods accepted by Marshalls?

Apple’s digital wallet lets you store multiple payment options like your debit and credit cards in your Apple device. With multiple payment choices on your Apple Pay, you can choose which of your cards you wish to pay with at Marshalls via Apple Pay.

If you’ve ever used Apple Pay before then you definitely know that this payment method can be one of the most convenient ways to make payments for your purchases. If you’ve never used Apple Pay before, then you can give it a try at Marshalls as they accept the payment method for purchases. Make sure to have Setup your wallet prior to making your payment so you won’t have to try figuring it out when you’re on the checkout line at Marshalls. 

Do Marshalls Take Apple Pay In-store?

Although there may be reports that some Marshalls stores weren’t accepting Apple Pay, this problem has been solved, and now most, if not all Marshalls stores accept Apple Pay as a method of payment in-store. You may also experience some inconvenience especially when the store’s staff isn’t familiar with the payment process but if you know your way around it and how to make your payments with Apple Pay, you wouldn’t experience this inconvenience. 

There’s also an Apple feature that lets you know if any Marshall store you walk into takes Apple Pay as a payment method. So whenever you walk into the store, you receive an alert letting you know if you can pay with Apple Pay or not. You can do this at any other store of your choice as this is an Apple feature built-in for your convenience. 

How To Use Apple Pay At Marshalls

The prerequisite to using Apple Pay at Marshalls stores is that you need to have set up your Apple wallet and added your cards in the digital wallet to be able to make payments with Apple Pay. After setting up your wallet, you can proceed to use Apple Pay to make your payments using your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Mac devices, or online. The following are the steps to make your payments with Apple Pay:

How To Use Apple Pay At Marshalls Physical Store With iPhone Or iPad:

Step 1: Select Your Mode Of Payment

Let the Marshalls attendant know that you wish to make your payment using Apple Pay as your method of payment.

Step 2: Launch Your Wallet

Open your wallet application on your Apple device, either your iPhone or iPad. 

Step 3: Choose Your Card

If you wish to use a different card instead of your default card, tap on your default card and choose which card you’ll like to use. If not, skip to the next step.

Step 4: Authenticate Your Card

If your device uses Face ID for authentication, double-click on the power button to activate your Face ID scanner. If this is unavailable, enter your passcode. 

If your device uses Touch ID for authentication, place your finger on the home button to scan your Touch ID. If it’s unavailable, enter your passcode. 

If both methods of authentication are unavailable, enter your Apple ID’s passcode.

Step 5: Perform The Contactless Transaction 

Place your Apple device right on top or near the contactless reader. Be patient enough to wait for the checkmark and a message that says “Done” before removing your device.

These steps will aid in completing any payment you’d like to make at any Marshalls store using Apple Pay’s contactless feature. 

How To Use Apple Pay At Marshalls Physical Store On Apple Watch:

Step 1: Unlock Your Apple Watch And Set It Up For Payment

Double click on the side button to achieve this.

Step 2: Choose Your Card

Navigate through to choose your preferred card for the payment.

Step 3: Perform The Contactless Transaction 

Place your Apple Watch close to the contactless reader until you feel a slight vibration and a small beep. This means your transaction has been completed successfully.

These steps will help you complete your purchase at any Marshalls store using your Apple Smartwatch. Be sure to follow the steps thoroughly.

How To Use Apple Pay Online:

Step 1: Tap On “Pay With Apple Pay”

Tap on “Pay With Apple Pay” or choose Apple Pay as your preferred payment method while checking out your items.

Step 2: Click On The “Next” Button To Choose Your Preferred Card

Click on “Next” until you’ve reached your card of choice if you want to switch your cards. Tap on “Expand” to see all your cards at a glance. 

Step 3: Fill In Your Details

Apple Pay may have stored your information if you’ve entered it before. The information required includes- your billing information, shipping information, and contact information. Enter the details if Apple Pay doesn’t have your information saved. 

Step 4: Authenticate And Confirm Your Payment 

If you use a Face ID scanner, double-click your power button to activate your Face ID scanner. If it’s unavailable, enter your passcode. If you’re using a Touch ID scanner, place your finger on the home button and scan your Touch ID. If it’s unavailable, enter your Apple ID passcode.

Make sure to follow the instructions on the Touch Bar before scanning your Touch ID if you’re using a CMac with Touch ID. If not, follow the on-screen instructions for Apple Pay. 

Follow the on-screen instructions for Apple Pay if your device is a Mac without a Touch ID. 

What Other Payment Methods Do Marshalls Take?

Just in case you don’t want to use Apple Pay as your preferred payment method, Marshalls store offers several other payment methods to help you complete your purchases.

The following credit cards are accepted at Marshalls: AmericanExpress, Discover, MasterCard, Visa, and TJX Reward Cards.

If you have gift cards, you can use gift cards to make your payments at Marshalls. They accept HomeGoods, TJ Maxx, and HomeGoods gift cards as the three stores are all owned by the same parent company.

If you also have branded gift cards from any of the major credit cards, you can use them. You can also use PayPal if you’re ordering from the website.
