Crystal of Atlan is finally out around the world starting today, and it’s available on PlayStation 5, PC, iOS, and Android. This action-packed MMORPG comes from the Hong Kong studio Nuverse, and you can jump into it for free. There are microtransactions, but downloading and playing the game won’t cost you anything.

Even though the game is on PS5, you don’t need a powerful computer to play it on PC. The minimum setup is pretty modest—a 9th-gen Intel Core i5, a GTX 750 Ti graphics card, and 8GB of RAM. If you want smoother performance, the recommended specs ask for a Core i7-9700, a GTX 1060, and 16GB of RAM.

You can find the game on the Epic Games Store or through a standalone PC installer. It also runs on the Google Play Games emulator. Just keep in mind, the Epic page might look different depending on where you live, whether it’s in the West or the East.

Crystal of Atlan is set in a colorful “magicpunk” world, where magical forces mix with advanced tech. You play as a free-spirited adventurer trying to explore ancient ruins and discover what really happened to the world of Atlan. The game is focused on co-op play and social interaction, so while you can go solo, the real fun is teaming up with others.

Combat is fast, stylish, and all about chaining attacks together. You can use up to 12 skills in one combo, 8 basic moves and 2 finishers along with regular hits. There are 11 different classes to pick from, and you can try them all without paying or rolling for characters. Each one has its own unique set of 20+ skills, so there’s a lot of room to find a style you like.

Fighting isn’t just button-mashing. The battles happen in full 3D space with aerial moves and camera angles that shift with the action. You’ll spend a lot of time in team-based missions, like dungeon runs and massive 8-player HexChess fights that need good teamwork to win.

For people who like PvP, there are balanced 1v1 and 3v3 battles where it’s all about skill. The game makes it fair, so whoever plays better wins, not the person with better gear.

Nuverse says “Crystal of Atlan blends fast-paced action with a deep class system and a world rich in style and mystery.”
