Galaxy S25 Edge’s Screen Size, Price, and More Details Leaked

Samsung is gearing up to drop the Galaxy S25 Edge, a slim contender that could give Apple’s rumored iPhone 17 Air a run for its money. I’ve been digging into the latest leaks, and this device sounds like it’s packing some surprises.
First off, the screen size is set at 6.656 inches. That’s a bit smaller than the Galaxy S25 Plus, which comes in at 6.7 inches, but bigger than the standard S25’s 6.2 inches. What’s really catching my eye, though, is the bezels.
Word from leaker Ice Universe is that they’re going to be super thin, matching the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s sleek 1.52mm edges. That’s thinner than what you’ll find on the Plus or the regular S25, and it’s all symmetrical too. Samsung seems to be pushing this thinness vibe hard, and I’m here for it.
The design got a tease back in January at the Galaxy Unpacked event. They didn’t spill all the beans, but we know it’s flat-screened and crazy slim—just 5.84mm thick. That’s way thinner than the 7.3mm S25 Plus or the 7.2mm S25. It’s also light, weighing in at 162g, the same as the standard S25 but 28g less than the Plus.
For power, it’s running the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip with 8 cores. Early whispers suggested a 7-core version for better battery life, but the GeekBench tests say otherwise. Speaking of battery, it’s under 4,000 mAh, which might raise some eyebrows given how thin this thing is.
Pricing’s where it gets juicy. Samsung hasn’t said a word about it yet, but Ice Universe dropped a hint that’s got me hopeful. ‘The price is similar to that of S25+,’ he posted on X.
Now, the S25 Plus starts at $999, so if the Edge lands around there, it could sit nicely between the Plus and the $1,299 S25 Ultra. He also asked, ‘If the price is similar, which would you choose, S25+ or S25 edge?’
Good question—I’d lean toward the Edge for that slim factor alone. But his wording’s a tad vague, so it might just be a what-if scenario. Either way, it’s exciting to think about.
The look of this phone is shaping up to be a mix of its siblings. Ice Universe shared a sketch on X, saying, ‘The accurate rendering of the S25 edge is here, the screen size is 6.656 inches, but the bezel is the same as the S25 Ultra, which is narrower than the S25+.’
He’s calling it a fresh take, with a back cover that stands out from the rest of the S25 lineup. Samsung’s been showing it off at events like Mobile World Congress too, so they’re not shy about it.
When’s it coming? Leaks point to April, maybe around the second week. No official date yet, but that’s the buzz. In the US, it might only come as a carrier-unlocked model, and it’s expected to hit about three dozen countries. Oh, and a Samsung UK official hinted that even with its slim build, durability won’t take a hit. That’s a relief.
With Apple possibly prepping a slim iPhone 17 Air to replace the Plus model, this could turn into a real showdown. Samsung’s playing bold—will it pay off? We’ll see soon enough.
