The ads are created and paid for by advertisers who want to promote their products. Keep in mind that each ad is different, which means the money that you will earn will vary.

How to Fix Adsense Invalid Phone Number

Fixing the ‘AdSense invalid phone number’ error is pretty simple and straightforward. There are just a couple of steps that you can do to correct the problem. First, go to your AdSense account and log in.

Then, entering your phone number requires a verified phone number field. Make sure that you follow this format: +<country code><area code><standard phone number format> (+13127735555121). The next step is to select whether you want to receive your verification code through a text message or a voice call. Once you have entered the code, you can hit ‘Submit,’ and you are good to go.

These are just simple steps that you can follow to fix the error that you have encountered on your AdSense verification process. With a simple format that you need to remember, you do not need to worry about the ‘invalid phone number’ error anymore!

Why is Google Verifying My Phone Number?

The main reason why Google is verifying your phone number is to protect your account and make sure that your information is accurate and up to date. This process is usually done through text messages or phone calls. Lately, people have wondered why they’re suddenly receiving a notice that Google is sending them a text message from their number without prior notification whatsoever.

What usually happens in this process is you will receive a six-digit personal identification number (PIN), which you will enter and verify on your account. Now, there are some countries that don’t require phone number verification. However, if it is required for you, you will be prompted to sign up on AdMob or the home page of the AdMob user interface for complete verification.

If you are not fond of Google verifying your phone number from time to time, they also provide steps on how you can change the verification process. It can easily be done by heading to the ‘Settings Menu,’ then ‘Google,’ then ‘Google Settings’, then ‘Device Phone Number,’ and lastly ‘Manage How Others Connect With You.’

Now, if you haven’t changed any of your settings, Google will re-verify your phone number. This means you will get a text message or see outgoing texts to Google from time to time. In my opinion, I would rather keep the verification setting because it can help keep my account secured. However, this is all up to you if you want to keep the settings or not.

How to Verify Your Number in AdSense

The verification process is pretty easy when it comes to AdSense. First, you would need to log in to your AdSense account. Once you have done that, on the ‘Verify your phone number’ section, enter your phone number in the correct format that has been mentioned above. If you have previously verified a particular phone number for Google, you will see the phone number listed on the ‘Phone number’ field.

Next, choose the way you want to receive your verification code. You will be given an option for a text message or voice call. Then, click on the ‘Get verification code’ button, and Google will send you the code via text or phone call.

There are also other things that you need to take note of when you are waiting for the verification code. Most mobile carriers are supported by text messages from Google; however, if your carrier doesn’t support text messages, best to go the voice call route.

If your text messages are delayed, you might be located in a densely populated area, or your signal might not be enough due to your carrier’s infrastructure isn’t well maintained. All you need to do is wait a few minutes and if you still haven’t received the verification code message, try to go for the voice call option.

Also, remember that you might be charged for receiving text messages or voice calls, depending on the country you live in. The cost of this will vary depending on what country you live in, but most likely, it will be your standard text and call charges that your carrier charges you. If you want more information about the charges, it is best to contact your phone provider.

If everything works well, you will be able to receive your code via text or voice call. Finally, you will be directed to a page where you will enter the code that was sent to you. Once you have entered the code, click on ‘Submit,’ and you are good to go. Your phone number is now verified.

All you need to do is wait for your AdSense account to be fully verified, and you can start earning money from your daily, weekly, or monthly content.

Text Message or Voice Call Verification Doesn’t Work – What to Do

If you encounter a problem with receiving your verification code through voice calls or text messages, there are a couple of things that you can do to fix the problem. If you are using your mobile phone for verification, you can opt to use a fixed-line instead. The next thing that you can do is to have a friend or a family member send you a text message or a call. This way, you can check if the problem is within your carrier or Google itself.

Next, you need to make sure that you have a strong signal when attempting the verification process. When you ask to send your verification and your phone is out of range, the call or text message may not go through. This applies especially to the text message, and it might not get delivered at all.

If that still doesn’t do the job, you can try verifying your phone number the next day or on another day. One reason for this is it might be a network fault that is causing you not to receive the call or text message. Trying on another day might be the best way because the problem might be already resolved by then.

I have encountered this problem before, and all I needed to do was try again the next day. Finally was able to work, which had me wondering that it might have been a problem either on my carrier’s end or Google itself. So, it is best to not push the process on the same day, but instead, try again on another day.

Lastly, if everything else fails, you might want to try a different supported carrier. The carrier that you may have right now maybe had some problems when receiving calls or text messages. Selecting another supported carrier might be the answer to your problem of not receiving any verification code.

Following these steps can help you solve the problem of verifying your phone number in your AdSense account. Just make sure that all is well with your mobile phone, such as a good signal.
