4X Strategy Game 'Hyper Empire' Will Allow You to Rule the Universe

4X strategy games are not for everyone’s taste, we know, but they’re extremely fun. This abbreviation (which stands for Explore, Expand, Exploit, Exterminate) is a subgenre of strategy games that combines elements of turn-based board gaming and strategy gaming.

Well, all Steam users will now have the ability to enjoy a new 4X game that has just been released on Steam and will take you to space.

The game is titled Hyper Empire, and it will take you on a space-exploring adventure that will ultimately allow you to become the ruler of your own universe in this entertaining new title.

And while the mechanics of 4X strategy games are known, Hyper Empire aims to add more intrigue to the well-known formula by adding some new elements and features that make the gameplay more interesting and challenging:

Dynamic Factions: Choose from five distinct factions, each offering unique gameplay mechanics, ship types, and abilities to master.
Fast-Paced Combat: Command your forces in dynamic auto-battles while taking control of your flagship’s weapons to turn the tide of war.
Multiple Victory Paths: Will you conquer the galaxy through military might, technological superiority, trade, or sheer survival? The choice is yours.
Random Events: Encounter unpredictable challenges that can change the course of your empire’s fate, keeping each session fresh.
Trade & Piracy: Protect your vital trade routes from pirate raids and manage your empire’s economy to fund your ambitions.
Hero Recruitment: Recruit powerful heroes to strengthen your empire and unlock new strategic possibilities.
Replayability: With randomized elements and various faction combinations, no two games are ever the same.

These features are supposed to ensure that the players enjoy a challenging game, especially if they don’t have a lot of time for a long-term campaign; as revealed, the empire-building sessions will be completable in 40 minutes or less.
