Car entertainment systems have evolved in a major way, as you know. From simple car radios to the multimedia systems we have today, the evolution has been rapid and enormous, transforming cars into mobile entertainment hubs.

You probably know that the company has introduced a premium in-car streaming serviceย and we can now confirm that more and more car owners across Europe will be able to enjoy it!

The premium in-car streaming serviceย is very special and it allows car owners to turn their car into a mobile cinema or whatever else they want to use it for. The service offers the following apps at this point:

  • Streaming Services: Netflix, Disney+, YouTube, LG Channels
  • News & Entertainment Apps: Haystack News, Stingray Karaoke, Play.Works
  • Kids Apps: Baby Shark World for Kids
  • Fine Art: Vasari
  • Upcoming Services: Joyn, Napster

Of course, more content is coming by the end of the year, but even now, the system sounds great and very futuristic. Currently, there are three subscription plans – Entertainment Standard, Plus and Plus WIFI – with each of them offering bothย monthly and annual subscription plans, with options varying by package.

The system debuted with the recently introduced EV3, and it will now be available in the new Sportage, EV4, EV5, as well as all upcoming models.

Of course, Kia has thought of your safety as well, so the system will only be accessible when the car is parked, which is going to be great for breaks during long trips or if you want to enjoy a cinematic experience in your car.
