Honda has unveiled its 2025 Prologue, an upgraded all-electric SUV. The new version brings better range and more power to the table. The front power unit improvements give the Prologue an extra 12 miles (19 km) of range, bringing it to a total of 308 miles (495 km) for two-wheel drive models.

The motor power has also been bumped up, now offering 220 hp (164 kW), up from 212 hp, and 243 lb-ft (329 Nm) of torque, an increase from the previous 236 lb-ft.

The AWD models are getting similar upgrades. These versions now have an extra 13 miles (20 km), pushing the range to 294 miles (473 km) for the EX and Touring trims, while the Elite gets an additional 10 miles, totaling 283 miles (455 km).

Power and torque have been upgraded too, with 300 hp (223 kW) and 355 lb-ft (481 Nm), up from the previous 288 hp and 330 lb-ft.

There are three trim levels available: EX, Touring, and Elite. Pricing for the Prologue starts at $47,400 before taxes and destination charges. Buyers in the U.S. can take advantage of a $7,500 federal tax credit, bringing the starting price down to $39,900.

Standard features include Google built-in, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, wireless charging, SiriusXM radio, and HondaSensing, the brand’s safety system. Inside, the cabin offers dual-zone climate control, heated front seats, and a 10-way power driver seat with lumbar support.

All 2025 Prologue models can charge up to 150 kW on DC fast chargers. The 85 kWh battery allows the car to add 65 miles (104 km) of range in just 10 minutes.

By 2030, owners will have access to 100,000 DC fast-charging stations across North America, thanks to Honda’s partnership with IONNA. Honda also provides several home charging packages to meet different needs, including free charging credits with EVgo.
