Kadence WP Theme Review
In this article, I will review the Kadence WP theme.
The Kadence theme is one of the newest on the market and is making quite a name for itself.
You can customize it in many ways (blocks, branding, etc.), and it has the fastest load time of any theme I’ve tested.
Another standout feature of the Kadence WP theme, which particularly appeals to music and podcast enthusiasts, is its seamless integration with Spotify. Whether you’re running a personal blog, a business site, or an entertainment platform, the ability to embed Spotify playlists or tracks directly into your pages adds a dynamic and engaging audio element. This integration not only enhances the user experience by offering rich media content but also demonstrates Kadence’s versatility in accommodating diverse content types. So, if you’re looking to create a website that resonates with your audience through the power of music or podcasts, Kadence’s compatibility with Spotify is a game-changer.
I’ll provide all the features Kadence WP has to help you decide whether to switch over to this high-speed, easy-to-use, customizable theme.
Kadence WP Overview
Kadence offers two different versions, free and paid, each with its own features.
Free Version
Kadence comes with six different starter templates, and they can all be easily imported to your site.
No matter if your site is for a business or a blog, these templates can work for anything you need – Kadence has you covered.
Kadence gives you the ability to edit headers, footers, menus, blog posts, homepage settings, and so much more.
There’s a header builder with a transparent header that allows you to add certain elements to your header.
You can customize a primary navigation button, a search bar, a logo, and multiple social media buttons with this theme.
The best part is that Kadence’s free version has transparent headers, while most themes only offer this in paid versions.
A global color pallet can also be used to set one uniform color in sections or elements of the same kind.
This makes it easier to apply color changes to the entire site, rather than to each element individually.
The default blog post settings also make it easier for you to change the appearance of your blog.
The experience you get with customization is a world of its own with this theme.
With options like advanced buttons, spacer dividers, table of contents, testimonials, content boxes, and accordions, you can build pages from scratch.
Additionally, each block has additional settings that will make it easier for you to customize various fields.
You can also add images, videos, audio files, and embed media from social sites like Instagram, Spotify, YouTube, Twitter, and Vimeo to your site’s pages.
Paid Version
Additional Header Items
You can add an account button to your headers and use different settings to define the functionality of the button.
This can redirect visitors to a login page or display a drop-down menu that gives visitors more information about their account.
For example, if you have a membership website, then this could be a great option.
Your headers can also contain contact information, as you have the option to display your address, phone number, and e-mail on your headers.
Another option is to add an overlay that displays a menu or certain information.
In addition, this also provides multiple toggle menu icons which provide a variety of options while displaying a menu.
Kadence Blocks Pro
The paid version has seven additional premium blocks.
Post grid – you can use this block to showcase your posts in a stylish way.
It’s easy to display them within categories or individually, and you can customize your post grid very easily.
Split content – you can use two different columns to display different types of content.
You can put media files in one column and text only in the second. The columns can be customized individually.
Advanced slider – with this block, you can display images in a simple way.
There are also advanced options that allow you to include buttons and various animations in images.
Pricing
Like most WordPress themes, you can either choose the yearly access option or the lifetime access, with the latter costing less in the long run.
Lifetime access is $489, while the yearly access option is $139 a year, billed annually.
With the premium option, you get all the premium plugins and page builders.
This theme is very lightweight, as it’s only 42 KB large, which also makes it SEO-friendly. This theme has a clean code and it’s very fast.
