Toyota is giving its popular Camry sedan a bold new look for 2026 with the Nightshade Edition. This new version adds sporty black trim and stylish black wheels to the already well-liked hybrid sedan.

The Camry was fully redesigned in 2025 with sharp styling, a large optional 12.3-inch touchscreen, and a standard hybrid engine. That change helped the Camry stand out because it offers great fuel economy at a lower price than many rivals, starting at just $29,835.

For 2026, Toyota isn’t making many big changes, but the new Nightshade Edition gives buyers a sleek new option.

Toyota has added Nightshade models to many of its cars in recent years, and now the Camry joins the list. The Nightshade Edition adds:

  • Black 19-inch wheels with a special design
  • Black trim on the front grille, bumper vents, door handles, and side mirrors
  • A black shark fin antenna, rear diffuser, and rear spoiler
  • Gloss black badges for a clean, uniform look

The Nightshade Edition looks much sportier than the regular Camry and is sure to turn heads on the road.

Buyers can choose from three paint colors for the Nightshade Edition:

  • Ice Cap (a crisp white)
  • Supersonic Red
  • Midnight Black Metallic (for a full blacked-out look)

Outside of the Nightshade Edition, the only other change for the 2026 Camry is a new blue color called Dark Cosmos, available on SE, XLE, and XSE trims.

Like all 2026 Camry models, the Nightshade is powered by a hybrid system that includes a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and electric motors. Buyers can choose:

  • Front-wheel drive (FWD) with 225 horsepower
  • All-wheel drive (AWD) with 232 horsepower (thanks to a third electric motor)

The FWD version gets great gas mileage—up to 53 mpg in the city and 50 mpg on the highway. Even the AWD version is efficient, getting 43 mpg in real-world highway testing.

Toyota hasn’t announced official prices for the 2026 Camry yet. But based on past Nightshade models, the Nightshade Edition will likely cost about $1,000 more than the SE trim. That would place it just below the more luxurious XLE trim.

The 2026 Toyota Camry, including the Nightshade Edition, will be available at dealerships this summer.
